Shimmer offers personalized ADHD coaching for individuals with ADHD or executive function challenges. The platform was founded by a group of ADHD coaches, psychiatrists, doctors, and engineers with the goal of creating an action-oriented environment for individuals and their coaches to explore.

Unlike other tools or apps, Shimmer focuses on real human interactions and expert strategies to facilitate genuine changes in users' lives. The team at Shimmer also understands the challenges of ADHD firsthand as they themselves have ADHD.

Shimmer is designed for individuals with ADHD or those struggling with executive function challenges who are ready to take action and make a change in their lives. The program caters to three primary categories of users:

 <li>Newly diagnosed individuals or those seeking a better understanding of their ADHD: Shimmer provides psycho-education and guidance to help users comprehend how ADHD impacts their lives.</li>
 <li>Individuals who wish to improve specific executive function skills and need guidance to follow through: Shimmer offers knowledge, resources, support, and accountability to assist users in implementing changes, such as routines, skills, and tools.</li>
 <li>Individuals who believe they can achieve more but feel they are not living up to their potential: Shimmer utilizes an ACT-based methodology to help users identify their values and align their lives accordingly.</li>
</ol>

At Shimmer, ADHD coaches work closely with users to co-design a plan tailored to their goals. Users experiment with strategies on a weekly basis to develop a routine that suits their specific needs. The program is built on scientific methods developed in partnership with renowned institutions like NYU, UC Berkeley, and UCSF.

*The initial onboarding meeting with the coach is 30 minutes, followed by meetings of the durations specified in the chosen package for subsequent weeks.
